Mesotherapy

MESOTHERAPY

THE PROCEDURE
With the help of dozens of minuscule injections, powerful vitamins, minerals and phytotherapeutics (herbal cures) are injected into the skin. This is done using a mesogun, an injection pistol with an extremely thin needle. As a result, the injections are hardly noticeable at all.

The advantage of using such an injection gun is that the needle is kept stable, the exact penetration depth can be set, the fluid can be perfectly dosed and the injections are made very quickly. The treatment does not go deeper than the needles used for e.g. tattoos or permanent makeup. That means the deeper layers of the skin are unaffected.

WHAT EFFECTS SHOULD I EXPECT?
The injected mixture of vitamins, minerals, oligo elements and other active compounds will optimally revitalise and hydrate the skin. The mesotherapy will improve the skin’s metabolic processes, which tackles the causes of age symptoms.

A mesotherapy is typically performed once per month. We usually recommend three or four treatments. Afterward, you can opt for more treatments every six months. Although some people show excellent results after just one or two treatments, most patients need four to six sessions. Depending on the state of their skin, some people may even need more than eight treatments.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE-EFFECTS?
The natural products that are used and the fact that the needle does not reach the deeper layers of the skin mean that the treatment is exceptionally safe and will not cause an allergic reaction. The only downside is that it may cause small bruises to appear, but these will vanish again quickly.

HOW LONG DOES IT WORK?
Because the body’s own compounds are used, it will break them down as well. The speed of this process differs from person to person. It is therefore often advisable to undergo a treatment for “maintenance” after six, eight or twelve months.
